Love was in the air on a warm summer day as family and friends gathered to witness the union of Lauren and John at the enchanting West Hills Country Club in Middletown, NY. While rain was in the forecast we all looked out the windows anxiously as the clouds and sun kept trading places and keeping us on our toes. Rain or shine though we knew the picturesque setting the country club provided was the perfect backdrop for a celebration of love, laughter, and new beginnings.

Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, West Hills Country Club is renowned for its breathtaking views and elegant ambiance. The lush greenery and manicured gardens created a romantic atmosphere that set the stage for a dreamy wedding day. Lauren and John couldn't have chosen a more idyllic location to say "I do."

Mother nature finally decided it would be blue skies for Lauren and John just as the first look was about to begin! And after a summer filled with rainy weekends, this sunshine was the biggest blessings, Lauren and Johns special angels above had sent them a beautiful gift!

What made Lauren and John's wedding truly special were the personal touches that reflected their personalities and their 10 year long journey of life together.

A few of my favorite details included; Lauren walking down half the aisle with her step father and then trading off with her father - it allowed for such a special moment for each of the wonderful dads in her life. They also had a family member perform the ceremony and it was filled with laughter, which always makes the moment feel so much more personal.
One of my favorite moments is that Lauren and John chose not to read their vows during the ceremony, instead they decided to share them immediately following the ceremony in an intimate time between just the two of them to share their love letters to each other. Really, this moment is what the entire day is all about; you and your person, celebrating your past and your future, from this day forward.

As the sun set over the Hudson Valley, Lauren and John embarked on their journey as a married couple, surrounded by the love and support of those who mattered most. Their wedding day at West Hills Country Club was not just a celebration of their love but also a testament to the enduring power of commitment and partnership.
